Vøringfossen Eidfjord, Norway
The impressive Vøringfossen waterfall plunges 183m (600 ft) from the Hardangervidda highlands into this gorge of the Eidfjord.
Perhaps even more impressive (at least perhaps from an engineer's perspective) is the nearby tunnel road that spirals down through the center of a mountain to deliver drivers to the bottom of the same fjord.
