Scott Lake Panorama Wind River Range, Wyoming
Evening twilight light along the Wind River continental divide above Scott Lake - July. At left is Gannett Peak, Wyoming's highest mountain at 13,804 feet. Also visible are Mammoth and Baby Glaciers.
This photo holds a special significance for me, since earlier that day I had hiked across all the terrain in this photo, from near the glacier at top-right, down to the lake, and up to here - all over brutal rockpiles... and that was only half of the day's hike!
