This rare perspective on the famous Tetons is from an unnamed lake that a friend and I bushwhacked 2,000 feet through steep forest to get to. After studying the maps, I suspected this lake would provide a good view of the Grand, and I was ecstatic to see the surreal mist rising from the valley below, all reflected perfectly in this seldom-visited lake.
