Dubrovnik is a historic walled city along the Adriatic Sea on the southern coast of Croatia. In 1991 during the Croatian War of Independence the town was bombarded by Montenegrin forces in the Siege of Dubrovnik. The bombed buildings have since been restored and the town is once again a popular tourist destination.
