This place was one of the more unique landscapes I've seen on Earth - an immense secluded beach surrounded on both sides by sheer granite peaks.

When I first arrived at the beach, I kicked off my boots to go for a wade in the water.  One ankle-deep step into the frigid water painfully froze my foot and I jumped back to the dry sand where I spent the next 10 minutes trying to rub away the numbness.  Stupid me.
