From September 2011 to January 2012, my fiance Claudia and I traveled for 15 weeks from the top of northern Chile all the way down to the tip of South America, detouring into Argentina various times along the route. We experienced a wide range of landscapes ranging from the surreal deserts and high volcanoes of the Atacama Desert and Altiplano of northern Chile, to the wet rainforests and snowy volcanoes of the Lakes Districts of Chile and Argentina, to the spectacular glaciers and jagged spires of Patagonia, to the wild mountains and weather of Tierra del Fuego and Isla Navarino.
I've posted a
gallery of my favorite landscape photos from our journey in the Andes here. Check it out!

This winter I was in Europe for a full six months! Much of that time was spent hiking, photographing, and snowboarding in the Swiss Alps and beyond. From January - April I was based in the town of Engelberg, Switzerland.
Now I am back home in Colorado, and I have posted a compilation gallery of my favorite
winter photos from the Alps.
You can also check my
blog to see lots more photos and adventures from my time in the Alps!

I just returned from a quick three-week trip to Peru, where I did some great treks in the rugged and glaciated mountains of the Cordillera Huayhuash and the Cordillera Blanca, near the city of Huaraz. Check out the
gallery here.

I am pleased to have been invited as one of the featured artists for this year's Arts Beat in Ouray, on May 30th. A number of new
large format prints will be on display in the
Skol Gallery, which is also where I had a
solo show last year.
I also was asked to design the poster for this year's event, so naturally I chose a
San Juan mountain photo theme!

I am now offering a new print display option! This new method involves face mounting my prints onto Fine Art grade Plexi glass, with a backing of black sintra and a recessed hanging mount.
The final product is a print that looks like a glass-framed print, minus the matte and frame! The image quality is the best yet, offering a vibrant clarity of colors, deeper darker black tones and a luscious depth of contrast. In short, these Plexi mounted prints raise the bar for extraordinary image clarity and elegant display style.
For more information about this unique display style, please see the
prints page.

From January through April 2007, the Skol Gallery in Ouray, Colorado filled their walls with about 30 of my mountain prints, including large format prints up to 44"x55".
Click here to see pictures from the opening night party, as well as pictures of the prints.
After April, a number of my prints will still be on display in the gallery for the summer, along with a collection of paintings and sculptures by other artists. Go stop by if you're in the area!
