December 1, 2009: Winter in Jackson Hole Though I love the winters at home in Ouray, Colorado, I felt like mixing it up for a while, so for five months this winter I'll be living in Teton Village, near Jackson, Wyoming. The place I'm living is about a 10 minute walk from the Jackson Hole ski tram, so I look forward to a lot of snowboarding, and hopefully many deep powder days! Snowboarding will be my focus while I'm here, but of course I also hope to get out for some winter photography in and around the beautiful Teton range. May the snow gods be generous this winter!September 10, 2009: Norway Gallery is Live! This summer I spent six weeks traveling through Norway, doing nothing but hiking and photographing the amazing mountains and fjords there. I've gathered and posted my favorite photos from the trip, taken with both the large format camera and the digital SLR.You can see my Norway photos here! December 15, 2008: New Zealand Photos! Last week I returned from a two-month trip to New Zealand, where I did a lot of hiking in the mountains of the South Island. After an intensive week of sorting through over 3200 photos, I have just launched my web gallery page! Check out my New Zealand photos here. May 30, 2008: Arts Beat in OurayI also was asked to design the poster for this year's event, so naturally I chose a San Juan mountain photo theme! Click here to see the poster with the event info. NEW for 2008: Fine Art Plexi Glass Mounted Prints I am now offering a new print display option! This new method involves face mounting my prints onto Fine Art grade Plexi glass, with a backing of black sintra and a recessed hanging mount. The final product is a print that looks like a glass-framed print, minus the matte and frame! The image quality is the best yet, offering a vibrant clarity of colors, deeper darker black tones and a luscious depth of contrast. In short, these Plexi mounted prints raise the bar for extraordinary image clarity and elegant display style. For more information about this unique display style, please see the prints page. January-April, 2007: Skol Gallery Show in Ouray From January through April 2007, the Skol Gallery in Ouray, Colorado filled their walls with about 30 of my mountain prints, including large format prints up to 44"x55".
