May 30, 2008: Arts Beat in Ouray

I am pleased to have been invited as one of the featured artists for this year's Arts Beat in Ouray, on May 30th. A number of new
large format prints will be on display in the
Skol Gallery, which is also where I had a
solo show last year.
I also was asked to design the poster for this year's event, so naturally I chose a
San Juan mountain photo theme!

January 1, 2008: New Patagonia Photos

From mid-November to mid-December, I spent a month backpacking down in
Patagonia, in both Argentina and Chile. I've just posted my photos from these incredible mountains - check them out in the
Patagonia gallery!
Happy new year!
NEW for 2008: Fine Art Plexi Glass Mounted Prints

I am now offering a new print display option! This new method involves face mounting my prints onto Fine Art grade Plexi glass, with a backing of black sintra and a recessed hanging mount.
The final product is a print that looks like a glass-framed print, minus the matte and frame! The image quality is the best yet, offering a vibrant clarity of colors, deeper darker black tones and a luscious depth of contrast. In short, these Plexi mounted prints raise the bar for extraordinary image clarity and elegant display style.
For more information about this unique display style, please see the
prints page.
August 31, 2007: Colorado Environmental Photos

Those of you who support environmental protection in Colorado may have noticed several of my photos used in recent publications.
Wilderness Workshop has used my
McClure Fisheye photo in the print material for their Hidden Gems Wilderness Campaign seeking designation of major new wilderness additions on the White River National Forest and nearby BLM lands in the western Colorado. Also, the
Colorado Environmental Coalition has used my
Fireweed Fisheye photo for the cover shot of their Summer 2007 quarterly newsletter.
January-April, 2007: Skol Gallery Show in Ouray

From January through April 2007, the Skol Gallery in Ouray, Colorado filled their walls with about 30 of my mountain prints, including large format prints up to 44"x55".
Click here to see pictures from the opening night party, as well as pictures of the prints.
After April, a number of my prints will still be on display in the gallery for the summer, along with a collection of paintings and sculptures by other artists. Go stop by if you're in the area!

February 4, 2006: Denver State Capitol Display

Two of my prints were hanging in the rotunda of the Denver
State Capitol building, as part of an exhibit of the
Colorado
Nature Photographers. The exhibit featured a variety of
nature
photos from all over the state of the Colorado and included
impressive work from many talented local photographers.
The exhibit was on display during the month of February.
