This weekend I met fellow photographers Momo Vuyisich and his buddy Csaba for an overnight backpacking trip to Columbine Lake, in the San Juans near Silverton. The recent snowfalls, high elevation, and unsettled weather made for a chilly but spectacular trip.
This was the first backpacking trip I've taken my new Fujifilm F30 digital camera on, and I had a blast experimenting and snapping away. This pocket camera is the perfect compliment to my 4x5 large format film camera - lightweight, and great for macro shots and quick grabs.
